Hot Spring Photos |

| Baker Hot Spring | thumb | thumb | I never have gotten a photo of this spring. While access is simple and it is a nice spring, we have accidentally met a 'groper' at this one. We have been meaning to go back on a weekday and snap a few shots. This spring is very near Baker Lake Resort. 'Skinny-dippable' with discretion, as sometimes familes with small kids show up and parents are almost never coool with the unclothed human, I.M.E. | |
| Lester Hot Spring | thumb | thumb | We hiked into Lester one day, and never found it. Then when we stumbled across the defunct dusty-corner-of-the.net and saw the photo, we realized we had walked right past it. Silly us. It is easy to find. Email me for directions. Be warned, it looks like just a small trickle (one tablespoon per minute or so) | |

This is one of my most favorite springs. Really. Mostly because it is so close to home. Go there during a rainy day or Wednesday or stay overnight to get it to yourself, which is the only way to skinny dip. I have been to the better pools when there was a crowd and bared it all anyway, just cuz that place is so cool. |

| Scenic Hot Springs | Scenic used to be the Northwest's Premier Hot Spring. Number One on my list, barr none. Long story short (google for scenic hot spring king county) the cops took it down after a rape report. Today, workers work to restore the spring and legal access. We can all hope. | |||
| Wind River Hot Springs | Wind River is a great soak. Which pool to soak depends upon how high the river is. Wind River is technically a pay pool, but since you can access it without going through the private property AND since Native Americans can access for free (that's me) I consider it a free pool. It is almost a two mile hike in along a slippery, rocky path but so very well worth it. Being as far in as it is, I always strip down and hop in nude, regardless of who is around. | |||
| Now, there are more springs in Washington that I do not mention. Those include, but are not limited to Supher, Gamma, Goldmeyer, Green River and Ohanapocosh. Hiking Hot Springs in the Pacific Northwest by Evie Litton will get you to those. Be warned about Goldmeyer, it costs money and is run by hypocrites (email me for more info) | ||||
